Coral Springs Technical Assistance Panel

In May, the District Council analyzed issues surrounding the creation of a ‘downtown Coral Springs’ and relocation of City Hall.  The final report was presented to the City Commission by TAP Co-Chairs Chuck DeSanti of Kitson & Partners and Ken Tuma of Urban Design Kilday Studios on July 17th at a city workshop. Regional Leadership Models Report Issued

As part of the HUD/EPA/DOT Sustainable Communities Grant initiative to create a Southeast Florida regional vision and prosperity plan (better known as Seven50), the District Council has researched and produced a report on national regional leadership organizations entitled “Creating an Enduring Southeast Florida Regional Leadership Organization: Keeping the Seven50 Vision Alive, Successful Models and Observations.” The report is an outgrowth of the work done by the District Council’s Regional Leadership Committee, chaired by Marc Kopelman.
