District Council Received 2015 Bank of America Grant

ULI has a long history of helping communities with their most pressing development and redevelopment issues, especially through its active Technical Assistance Program (TAPs).  Over the past decade, Bank of America has been one of the District Council’s most ardent supporters of the TAP program, funding ULI Southeast Florida/Caribbean with grants through its Foundation. ULI TAP Focuses on Davie

In August, the District Council convened a Technical Assistance Panel for the Town of Davie CRA focused on strategies to create a new downtown centerpiece on a 3 acre of Town-owned site next to the Bergeron Rodeo Arena and the current Town Hall. With a long history of western-themed development along its Davie Road corridor, the TAP panel was convened to explore ways to incentivize more private sector interest in development along this corridor and to identify what kinds of development should occur.
