Joshua Escoto
Associate, Broad and Cassel

Mr. Joshua Escoto is an Associate
in the West Palm Beach office of Broad and Cassel. He is a
member of the Real Estate and Land Use and Enviornmental Law
Practice Group.
Mr. Escoto has extensive experience in commercial and
residential real estate transactions. He has assisted real
estate developers with all aspects of
single family home and condominium development, including
acquisition, land use approval and permitting, condominium
development, and residential/condominium unit closings. Mr.
Escoto has experience dealing with environmental and land
use issues, including developments of regional impact,
concurrency resolution, land use permitting and due
diligence, and community redevelopment. He graduated with
honors from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law
where he was the Senior Production Editor for the University
of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy. Mr. Escoto
received the 15th Circuit Pro Bono Award for successfully
negotiating a mortgage foreclosure settlement for a single
family mother.
Mr. Escoto is involved in various community and professional
organizations. He is a member of the Palm Beach County
Planning Congress and is the Executive Vice Chair of the
Young Leaders Group for the Urban Land Institute's Southeast
Florida/Caribbean District. Mr. Escoto also serves on the
Citizen Advisory Committee for the Palm Beach County
Metropolitian Planning Organization.
