Jorge Garcia has
been the driving force behind Garcia Stromberg’s growth and
development since he founded the firm more than 19 years
ago. Even before launching his own firm, however, he had
earned a reputation as a highly skilled, highly successful
member of South Florida’s architectural and development
community. As a leader and as a visionary, he is a sought
after authority on the realities and challenges clients face
in the planning, zoning, and approval processes found in
today's project development environment.
Jorge holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the
University of Miami and is a licensed architect in 14
states. He has also earned a national reputation for
creating innovative national and international resort
facilities, commercial and mixed-use developments and
residential projects.
Jorge is actively involved with a number of local and
national charitable organizations and professional
associations. He serves as a Board Member for, Boys & Girls
Club of Broward County, Humane Society of Broward County,
Museum of Art of Fort Lauderdale, a founding Member for Jack
& Jill Children’s Center, and serves on the Board of
Advisors, and Florida Council on Economic Education. Jorge
also serves on the Urban Land Institute Executive Committee
and the Recreational Development Council, City of Boca Raton
Planning & Zoning Board, American Institute of Architects,
Florida Atlantic Builders, Association, Advisory Board
Member for the Florida Atlantic University School of
Architecture, Founding Director of the Bank of Florida,
Trustee Member for Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce,
Leadership Boca and is the recipient of the 2005
Sun-Sentinel Excalibur Award and 1st Annual Up & Comers
Award presented by the South Florida Business Journal. |
