Steven D. Hurwitz, MBA

Steven Hurwitz is
a Senior Vice President at Continental Real Estate Companies (“CREC”),
where he supervises the leasing of office properties for the
firm. His clients include LNR, Greenstreet and BGK Equities.
In addition, Mr. Hurwitz handles tenant representation
investment sales assignments for the firm and is involved in
new business development. Mr. Hurwitz reports directly to
the firm’s principals.
Prior to joining CREC, Mr. Hurwitz supervised development
and construction projects at Codina Group as a Project
Manager. He was responsible for the completion of 355
Alhambra Circle for owners JP Morgan, St. Joe Corp and the
Codina Group and Westside Plaza III for owner Prudential.
From 1995 – 2000, Mr. Hurwitz served the City of Miami Beach
as the Chief of Staff of the Mayor and Commission Office. In
his role, he was actively involved in the annual City budget
process and oversight of various City Departments. Mr.
Hurwitz supervised all constituent relations and special
projects on behalf of the Commission and Mayor Neisen Kasdin.
Mr. Hurwitz attended the University of Wisconsin Madison
where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree and later
received his Master of Business Administration at Florida
International University in Miami, Florida.
He is a Licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Person; Vice
Chairman and Treasurer of the Urban Land Institute (ULI)
Southeast Caribbean District Council; Vice Chairman –
Outreach of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Young
Leadership Division; member of the Miami Beach Chamber of
Commerce. Mr. Hurwitz is a graduate of the Greater Miami
Chamber of Commerce Leadership Miami program.
