Comment on FL Energy Resiliency Report

FYI – Florida’s eleven regional planning councils have released a stakeholder review draft of the Florida Energy Resiliency Report for the State of Florida. District Council Issues Report on Regional Leadership Models

ULI SE FL/Caribbean District Council and its Regional Leadership Committee recently issued a report entitled “Creating an Enduring Southeast Florida Regional Leadership Organization” as part of the work of Seven50, our region’s Sustainable Communities Grant from HUD/DOT/EPA.  The seven county Seven50 vision and economic prosperity plan will be completed by January 2014.  The Regional Leadership report analyzes six successful national models for regional leadership organizations and outlines attributes applicable to such an organization for our region.  A copy of the full report can be accessed through this link: Regional Leadership Report. … Read More

Regional Leadership Models Report Issued

As part of the HUD/EPA/DOT Sustainable Communities Grant initiative to create a Southeast Florida regional vision and prosperity plan (better known as Seven50), the District Council has researched and produced a report on national regional leadership organizations entitled “Creating an Enduring Southeast Florida Regional Leadership Organization: Keeping the Seven50 Vision Alive, Successful Models and Observations.” The report is an outgrowth of the work done by the District Council’s Regional Leadership Committee, chaired by Marc Kopelman.
