On its official website Coral Gables is
touted as “a rare pearl in South Florida, a cohesive
community built on a grand scale that blends color, detail
and the Mediterranean Revival architectural style to create
a timeless grace and grandeur perfect in harmony with the
environment.” This 43,000 resident community boasts 40,000
white collar jobs, a “wireless downtown” and its own trolley
system.
This ULI case study program will provide an in-depth look at
what makes Coral Gables “work” and what challenges it faces
to remain competitive in a global marketplace, looking at
development across all market segments. Home to offices of
more than 175 multinational corporations as well as 21
consulate and trade offices, you will hear from the Mayor of
Coral Gables and other prominent figures in the City’s
development: past, present and future.
What lessons can other communities learn? How can your
company engage here? What’s next for Coral Gables?
All attendees will receive a copy of Coral Gables:
