Call for Nominations
Project of the Year |

Nominations are now open for the Urban Land
Institute’s Southeast Florida/Caribbean District
Council 2007 Vision Awards Project of the Year. This
year’s Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday,
September 20th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in
Hollywood, FL, and the winner(s) of this call for
nominations will be announced at the event.
Award
Criteria for Project of the Year |
◊
The nomination process is open to all – not just
to ULI members.
◊ The nominated project may be any market type –
residential, hospitality, office/retail,
industrial, mixed use or any combination of
uses. It may be a comprehensive development or a
single building.
◊ The project must be physically located within
ULI Southeast Florida/Caribbean’s geographic
boundaries, i.e., located within the counties of
Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin,
St. Lucie or Indian River, or in Puerto Rico.
◊ The project must be in stable operation,
financially viable, and worthy of emulation.
◊ The project must embody excellence in one or
more of the District Council’s 2007-2008
priorities:
● Housing for the 21st Century
● Green and sustainable communities
● Public/private cooperation

Nomination
Process
The deadline for nominations is August 1, 2007 at 5:00
pm. Entries should include a brief synopsis of no
more than 4 pages that highlights the nominated
project and how it fits the award criteria.
Supporting materials (format: 8.5 X 11 paper size), such as photos, brochures,
etc., along with the entry contact person’s
information may be attached.
Please include detailed information on your project
with your nomination package. Details such as
percentage of the project leased or sold; plans for
additional phases; and or or project economics.
Mail or hand-deliver entries to ULI Southeast
Florida/Caribbean, 2401 East Atlantic Blvd., Suite
400, Pompano Beach, FL 33062-5243. Please send six
(6) complete copies of your nomination package. Also
be sure to provide a contact person who can answer
technical questions. Call
