The Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Southeast Florida / Caribbean is proud to announce the graduates of the 2019 Leadership Institute.
The 25 graduates were part of the second class of ULI Southeast Florida / Caribbean’s Leadership Institute, an immersive real estate-focused leadership program that develops emerging leaders in the land use and real estate development industry.
The eight month program cultivates leadership skills, educates participants on the area’s most critical land use and community development issues, and prepares them with the tools and skills needed to help address these challenges.
The graduating class was comprised of developers, architects, attorneys, engineers, bankers, planners, brokers, and other real estate professionals, from both the private and public sectors throughout Southeast Florida.
The graduates all lent their professional expertise to solving local land use challenges through the program’s Leadership Projects, where program participants provide pro-bono advising on particular land use or policy challenges faced by public and nonprofit entities in the region.
This year’s class worked on projects for the City of Tamarac, the Miami Baywalk, Habitat for Humanity of Broward, and the Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust (CITT).
