ULI Southeast Florida / Caribbean is hiring for a Senior Associate position
The Urban Land Institute of Southeast Florida / Caribbean is proud to announce the graduates of the 2021 Class of the Leadership Institute. The graduates were part of the fourth cohort of ULI Southeast Florida / Caribbean’s Leadership Institute, a real estate-focused leadership program dedicated to developing the region’s emerging land use and real estate leaders.
The 2021 graduating class is comprised of 29 emerging land use and real estate development industry leaders from throughout South Florida, and includes developers, architects, attorneys, engineers, bankers, planners, brokers, and other real estate professionals from both the private and public sectors.
The eight-month program cultivates leadership skills, educates participants on the area’s most critical land use and community development issues, and prepares them with the tools and skills needed to help address these challenges.
This year’s graduating class of 2021 continued to raise the bar with incredible dedication and commitment to the program. We would like to congratulate the class and welcome them to our growing cohort of Leadership Institute Alumni.

The 29 graduates cover the broad spectrum of the land use and real estate development industry, including developers, designers, bankers, planners, attorneys, engineers, brokers, public sector officials, and more. They join a growing cohort of more than 70 individuals from the South Florida region who have participated in the program since its inception in 2017.
During the course of the program, participants lent their professional expertise to local communities facing difficult land use issues through the program’s Leadership Projects, which provide pro-bono advising to nonprofits and public sector entities on land use and policy challenges.
“It is gratifying to see the dedication this class has shown to grasp and understand the curriculum of ULI’s Leadership Institute. The future of South Florida is better today knowing the quality of these leaders within our community,” said Eric Swanson, Chair of the Leadership Institute, and Principal of Avison Young.
The graduation day was hosted by Swire Properties at the EAST Hotel, Miami, and featured summary presentations of the six Leadership Projects, and a keynote discussion with Anthony Graziano, CEO of Integra Realty Resources, and Kieran Bowers, President of Swire Properties.
