The new special report, “Quantified Parking: Comprehensive Parking Inventories for Five U.S. Cities” published by the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Research Institute for Housing America, reveals an investment in parking that is out of balance with the current demand for parking in almost all cases, and even less in tune with what appears to be declining future demand. This study has important implications for the financing, profitability, and creation of walkable developments in cities, suburbs and towns across the nation.

Join keynote speaker Dr. Eric Scharnhorst, Principal Data Scientist at Parkingmill as he presents the report findings followed by a fireside chat of Dr. Scharnhorst and Dr. John L. Renne, Associate Professor in the School of Urban and Regional Planning and Director of the Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton as they discuss parking in the Southeast Florida region.

Please email eralda.agolli@uli.org for a copy of the presentation.
