    Join uson Wednesday, 19 March for the launch of the 2025 Emerging Trends in Real Estate® Global Outlook report by the Urban Land Institute and PwC, where an expert panel will discuss the global challenges and opportunities facing real estate and analyse the developing impacts on regions and sectors around the world.
      

    Industry leaders’ reflections from the Emerging Trends in Real Estate report suggest a cautiously optimistic outlook for global real estate. Despite concerns over fragile economic growth and growing geopolitical uncertainty, there is a general sense that the market is at an inflection point, with investors looking to put capital to work and reposition their portfolios. This session will examine how the real estate sector is responding to current challenges, how this is impacting the future outlook and investment strategies.

    Ralph Rosenberg

    Partner, Global Head of KKR Real Estate, KKR

    Ralph Rosenberg (New York) joined KKR in 2011 and became Chairman of Real Assets in 2025. Prior to that, he was a Partner and the Global Head of KKR's Real Estate Platform. Mr. Rosenberg is Chairman of the Board of Directors of KKR Real Estate Finance Trust Inc., Chairman of the Board of Directors of KKR Real Estate Select Trust, and a member of the Board of Directors of KKR Realty Japan Management. Prior to joining KKR, he was a partner at Eton Park Capital Management and managed his own firm, R6 Capital Management, which later merged into Eton Park. Previously, Mr. Rosenberg was a partner at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Rosenberg is a Governor of the Urban Land Institute Foundation, and serves on the Brown University Investment Committee and the Investment Committee of the Urban Land Institute. He is a former global and U.S. Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, former chair of the Board of Directors of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and a former member of the Board of Directors of the PREA Foundation. He is an Emeriti Member of the Brown University Corporation and is an Honorary Trustee of the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a former trustee of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust and a former trustee and former vice-chair of the Board of Directors of the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Mr. Rosenberg holds an undergraduate degree from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and holds an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

    Gareth Lewis

    Director, PwC

    Gareth is a Director in the PwC Real Estate Corporate Finance team and has over 20 years multi-disciplined experience across the UK, European and global real estate sector. He leads PwC’s real estate thought leadership and research on behalf of the European firm, including PwC/ULI Emerging Trends in Real Estate European and Global reports. Having started his career as a real estate advisor in London and New York, he spent a number of years as an industry representative for the British Property Federation (BPF), European Public Real Association (EPRA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). During his 5 years at EPRA, he represented the European REIT sector in their engagements with governments, regulators and global investors. At PwC, Gareth specialises in real estate M&A and helps clients in the development and execution of their real estate strategy/operations and drives PwC’s knowledge and insight relevant to real estate businesses.

    Mahdi Mokrane

    Co-head of Fund Management, Head of Fund Management Real Estate, CIO Europe ex-DACH, PATRIZIA SE

    Mahdi is the Co-Head of Fund Management at PATRIZIA, heading the Real Estate Fund Management team since 2024. In addition, he serves as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Europe ex DACH, in a role that serves as important on the ground interface to clients both overseeing our regional investment strategies and contribute to product development. He joined PATRIZIA in 2020 as Head of Global Investment Strategy & Research and Investment Solutions. Based in London, he oversees the firm’s real estate house investment strategies, and the funds’ execution and investment performance. Mahdi chairs PATRIZIA’s Real Estate Investment Committee and serves on the Client and Product Committee and PGP Board. Previously, Mahdi worked at LaSalle as a European Board Member, leading the European strategy and research team and serving on LaSalle’s Debt & Special Situations and private equity real estate investment committees. Mahdi held leading roles at AEW, MSCI IPD, ESSEC Business School, and Caisse des Dépôts. He is also a regular keynote speaker. Mahdi holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from EHESS (France) and the LSE, a Masters in Financial Economics from Dauphine University, and is an active member of MSCI IPD, INREV, ANREV and NCREIF.

    Lisette van Doorn

    Chief Executive Officer, Urban Land Institute - Europe

    As chief executive of ULI Europe, Lisette van Doorn is responsible for the development of the Institute’s activities across the region, including its renowned pan-European conferences and over 250 local meetings and events across 14 countries. She is responsible for working with ULI’s staff both locally and globally to deliver more high-profile content and reports; coordinating Advisory Services panels and Urban Plan; and expanding the Institute’s thought leadership across Europe. Van Doorn joined ULI in January 2015 from LIRE, her own consultancy business, which advises international institutional real estate investors and fund managers on strategy, organisational optimisation and portfolio structuring. Prior to this, van Doorn was country manager for CBRE Global Investors where she managed a €1.6bn portfolio of assets in Italy and fund manager of two shopping centre funds (€ 1.3 billion) with assets in Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Before joining CBRE Global Investors, van Doorn was founding chief executive for INREV, the European association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles for four and a half years. Van Doorn started her career at ING Investment Management, where she held account manager and assistant controller positions before being made managing director of research & strategy for ING Real Estate Investment Management Europe.

    Amy Price

    President, BentallGreenOak

    Amy Price is president of BGO. In her role, Amy oversees its U.S. and Canadian businesses, and works closely with the Capital Raising team. Amy is a member of the Global Executive Team, the Management Committee, and the US Investment Committees. Amy also provides executive oversight for BGO’s Sustainability and EDI initiatives globally. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Amy was a managing director and head of real estate investing for the western U.S. at Morgan Stanley, where she built the real estate investment management business in San Francisco. Amy also spent time in Morgan Stanley’s New York and Hong Kong offices. Amy is a member of the Global Board of Directors of Urban Land Institute (ULI), and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of AFIRE. She is also involved in philanthropic endeavors, as a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of San Francisco and member of Service Corp with her son. Amy holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University.
