2024 Lifetime Achievement Award - Jonathan M. Tisch
Jonathan M. Tisch – 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award
Recognized as a national leader of the multi-billion-dollar travel and tourism industry, Tisch has distinguished himself as a champion of public private partnerships, such as the Loews Miami Beach Hotel project, which was instrumental to the transformation of South Beach.
Tisch, who prior to assuming the role of Executive Chairman, was Chairman and CEO of the hotel company, has led Loews’ expansion and emergence as a prominent and respected hotel company with a widely praised culture that embraces the power of partnerships—with team members, guests, communities, and owners. He was voted “Hotelier of the World” by HOTELS magazine.
Alfonso Costa Jr. – 2024 Young Leader of the Year
As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Falcone Group, Alfonso Costa Jr. oversees the development of multifamily apartment communities and condominium projects, leading public-private partnership opportunities as well as the company’s operational and strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining the Falcone Group, Alfonso served as Deputy Chief of Staff & Opportunity Zones lead for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he oversaw policy for the $50 billion annually-budgeted Cabinet agency, which maintains a wide range of housing and community development programs, a $1.3 trillion mortgage insurance portfolio, and approximately 7,000 employees across 57 offices nationwide.
CityPlace Redevelopment, Phase 1 – 2024 Project of the Year
Located in Downtown West Palm Beach, CityPlace is the city’s most visited shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Since its creation in 2000, CityPlace has transformed into a well-connected neighborhood culminating in an exceptional district to live, work and visit in South Florida. Recent effots by Related Ross to revitalize the district have completely revolutionized downtown West Palm Beach through thoughtful improvements to the streetscape and public realm, and the development of 360 Rosemary, a class-A office tower, and the Laurel – a luxury residential building.
