2012 Vision Award Winner Chosen as a ULI Case Study
1450 Brickell is a case study in hurricane resiliency
Working with Miami-Dade County’s Economic Advocacy Trust and other community leaders, a 2013 Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) completed by the ULI Southeast Florida / Caribbean District Council focused on the 79th Street Corridor area of Miami from NW 7th Ave. west to the NW 36th Ave. TOD area.
Creating a sense of place, as well as strategies to drive economic development along the corridor, were high priorities. The panel was chaired by Ralph Rosado, Executive Director of the South Florida Community Development Coalition, and panelists included Javier Avino of Bilzin Sumberg, Tony Cho of Metro 1 Properties, Julio Collier of Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc., Bill Fuller of Barlington Group, Joe Furst of Goldman Properties, Douette Pryce of Pryce Resources, LLC, Javier Salman of Stantec, and Betsy Suiter of EDSA.
