As available land for new construction in South Florida dwindles and governments face the challenge of accommodating the growth of their communities, P3s continue to gain popularity as a creative way to solve complex and costly problems.
ULI’s Southeast Florida/Caribbean chapter and its Young Leaders Group brought together a top commercial real estate broker, leading developer and the vice mayors of the cities of Dania Beach and Tamarac for an in-depth discussion about public-private partnerships (P3s) on Nov. 7 at the Hyatt Place in Dania Beach.
Mika Mattingly, Executive Vice President of Colliers International’s Urban Core Division, moderated an interactive discussion with enthusiastic participation from the developers, brokers and other industry professionals in attendance. The featured speakers were:
