The extensive $640 million renovation and expansion of the Miami Beach Convention Center has transformed the formerly disconnected, dated facility surrounded by parking lots into a lush 25-acre site and 1.4 million sq. foot building that celebrates its position as the civic and cultural heart of Miami Beach.
The LEED-silver project has transformed the center’s linkage with its surroundings, creating over 12 acres of new greenspaces that are interwoven into the fabric of its adjacent historic neighborhoods and public buildings. The project also incorporated crucial resiliency features, renovated the 100-year-old historic Carl Fisher Clubhouse, revitalized the Collins Canal pedestrian walkway, and introduced over $7 million of contemporary art to the public.

The $95 million redevelopment of CocoWalk has transformed an outdated iconic Miami retail center into a vibrant neighborhood hub and retail destination that is catalyzing economic revival throughout Coconut Grove. The two-year project introduced a reconfigured layout featuring a five-story Class A office building, 150,000 square feet of updated retail and dining options, improved circulation and open spaces, and a sleek new aesthetic. The transformative redevelopment’s greatest impact has been on the community, serving as a catalyst that has inspired development throughout the Grove.

Located north of Midtown Miami, the Miami Design District is known across the globe as an innovative and high-quality art, retail, and dining destination. Over the course of two decades, what was once Miami’s forgotten furniture district was carefully master-planned, salvaged, renovated, stewarded, and transformed into a creative, vibrant, and walkable 30-acre art-focused neighborhood. Dedicated to luxurious retail, design, fashion, architecture, and dining experiences, the district’s 18 square blocks are home to more than 40 buildings, 170 flagship stores, three cultural institutions, and meticulously designed public spaces that have created a truly one-of-a-kind cultural hub that has had a multiplier impact throughout the greater area.

Brightline / Virgin Trains USA is a privately funded inter-city passenger rail and real estate development project. With its three stations across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, including the project’s flagship mixed-use Miami Central station, which spans six blocks and 11 acres, providing 1 million+ square feet of residential, commercial, and retail space in Overtown, this transformative project is helping to usher in a new era of connectivity and transit-oriented development to the South Florida region.
Developed by All Aboard Florida, a subsidiary of Florida East Coast Industries, Brightline’s private investment of more than $1.8 billion has already generated significant economic impacts in our region, and is transforming key areas in all three counties into dynamic new hubs where residents and visitors can live, work, and play.
