ULI Southeast Florida / Caribbean announces graduates of its 2019 Leadership Institute class
Two more areas in the Southeast Florida / Caribbean region will soon join Miami, Lauderhill, Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, Miami Beach, and St. Croix as recent recipients of ULI’s advising services.
ULI continues its community advising efforts in the Southeast Florida / Caribbean region with two more advisory panels, coming to St. Thomas and Fort Lauderdale in the coming months.
A national panel of ULI experts invited by the Fort Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will examine the city’s parks and open spaces from October 13-18th and develop a roadmap of strategic recommendations to improve the city’s network of parks and green spaces.
The specialized panel is offered through ULI’s efforts to support the 10-Minute Walk campaign, a nationwide movement dedicated to improving access to quality parks and green spaces. As part of the campaign, ULI offerss specialized Advisory Services panels focused on parks and open space, resilience, park-connecting infrastructure, health, and related issues.
The panel will analyze the island’s housing strategies and provide recommendations to improve availability, diversity, and affordability from August 25-30th.
These two panels join Miami, Lauderhill, Miami Beach, Christiansted, St. Croix, and the Municipality of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico as recipients of ULI’s advising services in the last two years alone. Previous panels in the region have looked at:
