    Edward Baker is an associate on the firm’s Business, Finance & Tax Team and Real Estate Law practice, based in Miami. His practice focuses on commercial real estate law, providing transactional counsel in commercial real estate matters. Prior to joining Berger Singerman, Edward served as a real estate associate at Duval & Stachenfeld LLP in New York City, where he serviced a wide roster of clients, from private and public real estate firms, family offices to joint venture groups, and private investors. Edward also has regulatory experience in Land Use and Zoning.

    Daniel Goldberg

    Department Head, Zoning, City of Miami

    Daniel S. Goldberg, Esq, is the Zoning Director/Administrator for the City of Miami. Prior to his appointment as the city's Zoning Director, he served in the City Attorney's Office as an Assistant City Attorney since 2014. In that role, he has practiced in the fields of land use and zoning, as well as general municipal law. He has also served at various times as the staff attorney to the City of Miami’s Plat and Street Committee, Planning, Zoning, and Appeals Board, Historic and Environmental Preservation Board, Art in Public Places Board, Climate Resilience Committee and Unsafe Structures Panel. Prior to working as an Assistant City Attorney, Mr. Goldberg worked as a legislative aide for former Commissioner Marc Sarnoff from 2012 to 2014. Mr. Goldberg was born and raised in the Boston area. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Purdue University, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2011.

    Alani Fraga is an Associate in Bilzin Sumberg's Real Estate Group, where she works with lenders, borrowers, investors, and developers on commercial real estate transactions. She handles the acquisition, financing, and development of hotel, multi-family, office, industrial and mixed-use properties.

    Anthony De Yurre

    Anthony De Yurre is a Partner in Bilzin Sumberg's Land Development & Government Relations Group. His practice focuses on the representation of real estate developers and investors in complex land use and zoning matters with a focus on transit oriented development, large scale mixed-use development, and public private partnerships. Co-Chair of the University of Miami’s Real Property Development LL.M Advisory Board, Anthony is also an adjunct professor in the program where he teaches “Problem Solving Large Scale, Mixed-Use Development.” Upon graduating from Duke University and Vanderbilt Law, Anthony returned home to Miami to earn his Master of Laws in Real Property Development from the University of Miami. Anthony is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
