ULI Welcomes our new Chair for the Caribbean Council, Stephanie Wade. We are looking forward to helping her execute on exciting programs for our Caribbean initiatives over the coming years and thankful for her leadership. Below, you will find more on her vision for her time as chair.
As Chair, my vision is to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and forward-looking approach to development across the Caribbean. I am committed to strengthening connections among ULI members, local governments, academic institutions, and private sector partners throughout the region. By creating platforms for sharing best practices, innovative solutions, and emerging trends, I hope to establish a collaborative framework that addresses shared challenges and harnesses the wealth of knowledge within the region to inspire solutions that are impactful and culturally respectful.
A key part of my vision is to enhance professional development and deepen community engagement. I aim to expand educational programs and training opportunities for real estate professionals, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to drive meaningful change. Additionally, I’m focused on increasing community engagement and public awareness of the critical role that well-planned, sustainable development plays in enhancing quality of life and supporting economic prosperity in the Caribbean. By bringing communities into the conversation, I believe we can create a shared understanding of the benefits of sustainable growth and foster pride in developments that respect local culture and heritage.
Finally, I am passionate about engaging and empowering the next generation of leaders in the real estate and development sectors. My vision includes launching initiatives that attract, mentor, and uplift young professionals, providing them with networking, career development, and mentorship opportunities. By empowering emerging talent, we can inspire the next generation to actively shape the future of urban landscapes in the Caribbean, building a legacy of resilient and inclusive communities that honor the region’s rich cultural heritage.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Wade
